He’s smart. He’s attractive. He’s Dexter Morgan, America’s favorite serial killer who spends his days solving crimes and his nights committing them. During season 8, Angel Batista was not always played by David Zayas. His son David Zayas Jr. replaces his father in some shots as the two look strikingly alike. Seen in season one, Dexter has a large scar on his left side. Later in season two, the scar moved to his right side, leaving his left side undetected. Dexter Morgan: I lived in the dark for a long time. As the years went by, my eyes adjusted until the darkness became my world and I began to see… Performed at the 64th Annual Golden Globe Awards (2007). Theme song written by Rolf Kent, performed by Rolf Kent. This will be my first review on IMDb, not a day goes by that I don’t visit IMDb to check out reviews of movies or series that I watch, I watch a lot of movies and series. For the first time in my life it happened to me that I couldn’t sleep after watching a series. I have watched Prison Break, Heroes and many more. Prison Break and Heroes season 1 was great. They inspired me so much that I got several tattoos on my body. However, both series get chill as soon as they move on to the next season. Heroes was a huge disappointment but DEXTER… OMG episode after episode is starting to make me really curious about the next episode… damn season 4. I couldn’t sleep the whole night after watching it. I spent the weekend watching the episodes back to back. Let’s start with Dexter (Michael C. Hall), his darkness was beyond the limit, he played the role so well that sometimes I wonder if he is the same in real life but then I found out that Debra Morgan (Jennifer Carpenter) is his real wife who plays his sister in this series. Damn Debra is a character who is so messed up and largely controlled by the people around her that she always ends up doing something wrong but she always gets credit for the good things too. I love the part where you understand what is going on in Dexter’s worry when he thinks about something or when someone talks to him, also the part where he talks to his dead father Harry. (he is just thinking about what his father would say in this situation). All the episodes/characters and all the seasons are so well written and acted that you can hardly find any fault with them. My favorite characters are Dexter (pretty obvious), Rita and Vince Masuka. Damn Vince is so funny that he only says one word in the whole episode and it is hilarious. I just can’t wait for season 5 and I’m sure anyone who has seen Dexter feels the same as me. (I apologize in case my first review contains mistakes and hurts anyone’s feelings)
